The Cedar Springs Music Academy began in August of 2008 with a desire to provide quality music instruction to students of all ages in a safe, Christian environment. In the last two years, we have grown to nearly 100 students serving both Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and SOAR Youth Ministries. We have hosted 7 recitals, 5 masterclasses, and a benefit concert with the Southern Stars Symphonic Brass. And we hear God calling us to do more...

In order to share with even more students and teachers in Knoxville, we are shifting from a traditional music school to a community of endorsed music educators teaching lessons here on campus and at satelite locations. We are also opening our Chapel the third Thursday of every month for a "Celebration of Music". It is our goal to spend more time and resources fellowshiping with music enthusiasts all over Knoxville. Performing artists will include area music professionals, chamber ensembles, large ensembles, the Knoxville Christian Arts Ministries, and even our church's very own Sanctuary Choir.

Instructors will have access to our Chapel for student recitals, rooms for teaching, and even the option of having their fees handled by the same staff that has served nearly 100 students and 8 different instructors for the last 2 years. Students and parents seeking quality music educators with strong Christian values can find confidence in using any of our endorsed local educators. They are all in compliance with the CSPC Child Protection Policy.
